It’s Tuesday Museday Wholetonians,

What an amazing week! I would like to personally thank all of you who tuned in to watch the debut of Wholetones on QVC! It was an amazing experience, and everyone on the set, (especially the hosts) were fantastic. The “Wholetones Relaxation Bundle” actually sold out, so hopefully, I will be back on again.

I would also like to thank the entire Wholetones team, especially, Marty Fahncke for making this a reality…your tireless hard work and love made this possible. It is teamwork that makes the dream work! So, lets move on to this weeks musing, “Yours Truly.”

There is an old saying, “to thine own heart be true.” When we examine that phrase, what is implied is that we need be true to ourselves, genuine, and unapologetically…HONEST!

John 8:32, “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Notice it says, you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. This is powerful because when you know the truth, the one who benefits is YOU! So if the truth has the power to liberate us (set us free) then a lie, (deception) has the ability to keep us in bondage as long as we continue to believe it.

Here is an example. Many years ago, a person I respected said they didn’t understand why I sang because they thought I had a terrible voice! Well guess what, I didn’t sing for years after that because…I believed a lie; I allowed someone else’s opinion to override what I KNEW in my heart to be true.

Years later, I entered a talent show… and won. People came up afterwards saying, “Wow, I didn’t know you sang! What an amazing voice!” Suddenly, I realized that they were telling the truth, and that truth became mine, and I was set free…I have been singing and playing professionally ever since.

In the movie, “The Matrix,” there is a scene when Neo asks the oracle if he is the ONE…but just over his head was a plaque that read “Nosce Te Ipsum,” which is latin for: Know Thyself! When you know who you are, no one can convince you otherwise. When your identity becomes permanently ingrained in your heart, you can accomplish anything. Because people who know who they are… have been liberated from the fear of man and the court of human opinion!

In 1997, I traced my family tree and discovered all about my Irish roots. When I saw my family crest and motto, I wept. It was seven crosses and a sable lion, and the motto read: “Truth, the only way to life.” You see by this time, I knew who I was and had no fear of man, only God…and I read this scripture:  Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

My family’s motto was, “Truth the only way to life…Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life!” As I dug in deeper into my family history, I found that they were Godly people, some were even martyred for their faith…but they KNEW who they were, and more importantly, WHOSE they were, and were willing to die for what they believed.

When you know the truth… the truth will set you free. My dear friends, do you know the truth? Do you know who you are? What lies have kept you from being all you can be? In an age full of fake news, lies, and deception, the truth rings out loud and clear. Can you hear it?

Friends, take some time this week to run a personal diagnostic of your core beliefs. Detect and delete things you believe about yourself that were birthed from a lie. Then replace those false fetters, the opinions of others that rented space in your heart…with the glorious truth of the real you. The transformation will be immediate. Until next week…

Yours Truly,
Michael S. Tyrrell
