Happy Tuesday dear Wholetonians,
Ok, kids back in school, check…favorite vacation picture as a new screen-saver, check…work schedule ramping up, check. Isn’t it amazing how fast the summer flies by? Local merchants are already putting out their autumn displays and we are still in August! So, now that we are “re-booted” by our wonderful summer memories, it’s time to focus on the next season!
I have been working on several new projects that I will be telling you about really soon. One of my new marvels will definitely make your furry friends very happy! And many of you have already taken advantage of the “Wholetones For Pets” pre-sale event!
These amazing units are being built as we speak and those of you who ordered early will be guaranteed to get the first ones off the assembly line! And that’s just the beginning my friends.
But now, it’s time to explain this week’s musing, “Wholetones LIVE In Minnesota.”
Almost three years ago, Sundui (my longtime Mongolian brother, pianist, and horse head violin player) and yours truly played a live Wholetones concert at St. Olaf’s Church in Minneapolis, MN. I can barely express to you what an amazing night that was; the atmosphere was totally electric! As you know, this same year (2016), the city of Minneapolis, along with people around the world were mourning the loss of the musical artist, Prince.
Prince was a musical genius, eclectic public figure, and Minnesota native. Whether you were a fan of Prince’s music or not, one thing is for sure, this quiet troubadour was loved by people around the world. Paisley Park, Prince’s home, headquarters, and recording complex was literally surrounded by people from around the globe, paying their respects and covering the entire chain linked fence surrounding the 65,000 square foot compound with art, poetry, notes, and thousands of purple balloons!
Maybe you are wondering, “why is Michael telling me about Prince, Paisley Park, etc?” Simple! Because music remains the most powerful vehicle on Earth to bring people together. And when a musician creates music that becomes the part of the soundtrack of our lives, the people who love that music feel connected to the composer. Minnesota has a rich musical history, and I felt it was time to return, three years later…to spend time with people in Minnesota who love Wholetones, support my mission, and pray for me daily!
I plan on doing more of these live events in 2020… for one reason, I want to meet as many of you as I possibly can…you are the reason Wholetones exists, and even though I LOVE writing you a personal email every Tuesday, I would much rather shake your hand, hug your neck, and look you in the eye, and personally thank you…face to face!
So, if you live in the “Twin Cities” or the Dakotas, or you don’t mind flying… you really don’t want to miss this life-changing event. I have kept the ticket prices extremely low, only $25! And yes, this event will sell out fast, as the venue only holds about 300 people.
Here’s the date, friends:

St. Olaf’s Church
