Tuesday Greetings, Wholetonians,

So glad we are connecting today—I have a lot to share with you! My summers are usually a time when travel slows down a bit and I can take a breather, but this year, things have been a little different!

Wholetones 2Sleep Gen2 far surpassed even my wildest expectations; in fact, we have already had to order another shipment. I’ve also done more interviews and podcasts this summer than ever before, mostly because YOU have once again shared Wholetones on social media and told others about my work. For that, I am eternally grateful!

Because you are a Wholetonian insider, I wanted to keep you in the loop regarding a new development. Since day one—October 24, 2014—Wholetones has been creating music to help people relax, sleep, and heal. A couple of months ago, I mentioned that I would be creating two new projects in August: Wholetones Active and Wholetones Christmas 2. Although I am still going to record a new project this month, I realized that doing two projects back to back was going to be a bit too much to accomplish at one time. Quality, not quantity, is what matters, so I would rather make one amazing recording now and plan for two new projects in 2019. So which album will come next? Let’s find out in this week’s musing, “Make A Joyful Noise.”

Since last year, many of you have emailed requesting something a little different. You see, although everyone agrees that Wholetones has created music that helps them relax, reboot, and get a great night’s sleep, a number of you asked if I would consider creating an energizing project for those who work out and lead an active lifestyle.

This intrigued me because even I have found that every time I go to the gym, while I want to listen to Wholetones, it just relaxes me so much that I end up opting for more upbeat selections in my playlist. Since your input makes a huge impact, I am happy to report that next week I will begin Wholetones’ newest offering … Wholetones Active.

Let me share a simple acronym with you: “BPM.” BPM means “beats per minute.” Exercise, weight lifting, high intensity, core strengthening, etc., depends on tempo. Knowing this, Wholetones’ newest project will combine healing frequencies with BPMs conducive to exercise. Watch out–when you ask for something different, you’re going to get it!

The same musicians you have heard on ALL of my Wholetones projects will be recording with me again, but this time, the music will be kinetic—pumping up the enthusiasm and urging you to move. When I first released Wholetones: The Healing Frequency Music Project, people assumed it was for sleep because it was so relaxing, but actually it was spontaneous … we just played what was given.

Wholetones 2Sleep was created without drums and dynamics so that once people fell asleep, they would not be awakened by percussion. With Wholetones Active, we will be creating music that is extremely energizing, full of big drums, electric guitars, and keyboards! I am telling you this because some people don’t equate upbeat and energetic with Wholetones. Here is my favorite explanation:

Psalm 150

Praise the Lord.  Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.

Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.

Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the strings and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with loud resounding cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord.

Wholetones music is not relegated to a “style.” It is an expression, and it is based on frequency. So whether it is soft, loud, acoustic, electric, or just the human voice, my music is created to help people heal. The Bible says, “Make a joyful noise, all ye people,” so this is going to be the most energetic Wholetones project to date!

I hope you will enjoy having an hour and a half of Wholetones frequency music to help you get moving again! Whether you frequent the gym, or just need some uplifting music during the day, Wholetones Active will not disappoint! Your prayers and encouragement are greatly appreciated as we begin recording soon.

Be Whole,
Michael S. Tyrrell
